Positive: We stayed at The Hideaway which was an independent cottage away from the other suites. We liked the quiet isolation of the cottage and the surrounding green pastures. We could roam freely on the farm grounds and walk among the sheep. We ordered the Chef's menu of roast pork for dinner and it was the most tender and delicious pork we have ever tasted. Highly recommended! There is no light pollution at night and we were able to see the stars. We were fortunate to witness the Aurora Australis just outside the cottage! A bonus for our stay! Thank you Trish and Steve for being great hosts. Appreciate the easy and prompt communication. Trish is a fantastic cook and you definitely have to try her food.

Negative: The bedrooms do not have cupboards where we could hang our clothes. A clothes rack with hangers would be really useful. There aren't any heaters in the bedrooms except for heated sheets on the beds. There is a fireplace in the living room and a portable heater which we used in one of the rooms.

Positive: Everything about this place is amazing. The most comfortable bed of our stay. Steve and Trish are amazing hosts. Trish’s food is top notch and Steve invited us to the animal feeding which was my daughter’s highlight of the trip. They are a great team and we will be back. Next time will call or book on their website. Recommend everyone does that as well.

Negative: Nothing, everything was amazing.

Positive: Great location to explore the Mt Fields area. The room was spacious and facilities great whether self catering or in house dining. The meals available to choose from were all amazing and delivered to our room! We enjoyed walking to the dam and a tour around the farm. The host was also very helpful with local information and places to see.
